Family: Karl und Brigitta Steininger
Place: Langenlois
Area: Kamptal
Specials: The combination of the soil and the climate gives our wines an exceptional finesse and complexity. In the Kamptal we work with different soil structures (bedrock, loess and clay). Hot days and cool nights during in summer, followed by long sunny autumn days bring our wines an incomparable, mineral character. The Kamptal is since the last few years also wellknown for the wonderful sparklingwines.

Mission statement: Sparkling wine is the noble Form of Wine! We have create an Austrian sparklingwine philosophy by using only typical Kamptal varieties. For us is very important on the one hand the high quality of the basewines, which present themselves clear, fruity and aromatic and on the other hand on the gentle second fermentation in the bottle. Both together matches the character of each variety and the flavor profile of the basewine perfectly. We ennoble the varieties Grüner Vetliner, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Burgunder, Traminer, Muskateller, Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé, Zweigelt and Pinot Noir
Our MSE 2017 Statement: To stay in contact with national and international Sommeliers because they are very important for the representation of our wines and sparkling wines.
