The name Lenz Moser is inextricably linked to Austria’s viticulture. The history of the current estate winery, in Rohrendorf near Krems, goes back to the year 1040 , when it was first mentioned in a document. Considered as the starting point of impulses for preserving Austrian wine culture, the Weinkellerei Lenz Moser has been nurturing this culture significantly since 1849. In fact, the Lenz Moser Hochkultur – the high training system – was created here and revolutionised viticulture in the 1950s. Lenz Moser wines are now found on the best wine lists throughout the country. They score with elegant, multi-layered wines from typical Austrian varieties.
